Finally the day arrived when we had to say Good-Bye to Sangla for our next destination: Sarahan.
But wait a minute……..as we stepped out of our room, it was snow, snow and huge amount of snow everywhere. There was a silence among us, as all 3 of us understood that we are stuck and in no way we could travel today. Moreover, snowfall was still on.
Poovar is a small coastal, fisherman village located 35 km from Trivandrum and 20 km from Kovalam.
There is a magical island beach here called Poovar Island which is surrounded by a river called Neyyar and Arabian Sea on either side.
With its pristine beaches and breathtaking landscapes, located around 150 Kms south of Goa, Gokarna is a small temple town on the western coast of India in Karnataka. This place is well-connected by road. Around 500 Kms and 9 hours drive from Bangalore, you can plan a weekend trip for this place.
